Meetings will be held quarterly in February, May, August and November. Meeting dates and locations will be announced in our electronic newsletter, Facebook page and this website.
Now that you’re a member of 100+ Women Who Care Hanna (you are a member right? Did you register online?), you are part of a force of women committed to change our community.
As a new member, there are some important things you should know before your first meeting.
- You don’t have to be a member to attend our networking sessions and meetings. We always welcome new members, so if you have a friend who might like to join, they can sit in at a meeting and can register at the event if they would like a ballot to vote that same evening!
- 100% of funds donated go to the selected nonprofits. Due to the generosity of our sponsors, we do not take or add an administrative fee. We all believe in the importance of giving back.
- Nominating a charity is for members ONLY – when nominations open, the link to the nomination form will be sent in our membership electronic newsletters that you should receive starting 4-6 weeks before a meeting. If you are NOT receiving your newsletter, please contact us. Alternatively, you can submit a hard copy. But remember, if you try to submit a nomination and you are not a registered member, your nomination will be rejected.
- We take your privacy very seriously. We have the selected nonprofits agree to not share or store your contact information in accordance with the Alberta Personal Information Protection Act. If you are contacted by a presenting organization after a meeting other than to receive your tax receipt, please let us know immediately.
