How We Got Started

area mapThe Hanna area Chapter was founded in 2018.  Our area has a wealth of resources but also has many unmet needs, making it the ideal place for a Chapter of 100+ Women Who Care.  All donations will be given to local area charities, non-profits, or worthy causes serving the local area only. This area includes Hanna, Craigmyle, Delia, Handhills, Spondin, Youngstown and all the communities in between.  The purpose is for the benefit of the contribution to stay 100% in the community.

Laurie Armstrong fell in love with the simplicity of the 100+ Women Who Care model and knew that Hanna was in need of an organization like this. In January 2018 she committed and jumped right into planning the first meeting.

Joining Laurie in this adventure to make up the Steering Committee are Tannis Voltner and Kim Barth. Together these ladies are rallying the females of our small community together to help out some amazing charities and organizations.

We are a part of the 100 Who Care Alliance.  There are over 550 active Chapters (and 200 more in development) in the 100 Who Care Alliance, including chapters of 100 Men Who Care, 100 People Who Care and 100 Kids Who Care.
